Twas The Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas
and all through the abode
no signs left of the holiday
‘cept my ass on the commode…

No, seriously…my family needs to learn to cook. Okay, well maybe not all of them…just my “sister.” I use the quotes because she’s not actually my sister, but she likes to call herself that. I myself call her PITA. Short for pain in my ass. πŸ˜€

She fancies herself a good cook. I fancy her living farther away. We both failed.

I truly am glad the holidays are over though. Maybe my life can get back to normal now. The endlessly ringing telephone, and unexpected knocks on the door announcing people I could totally be happier not seeing. Now I can do some winter cleaning, spend more time with my animals and hopefully get my creative muse back out of hiding. She’s shy.

I do have to say that one of the best Christmas presents I received this year, came from a good WordPress friend of mine. Brad, over at Green Embers, drew me this great doodle of my two favorite hotties fawning over me. The way that it should be. πŸ˜€

Charlie Hunnam and Jensen Ackles, at my feet -- where they should be. :D

Charlie Hunnam and Jensen Ackles, at my feet — worshipping my awesomeness. πŸ˜€

Thank you Brad. I truly love it! It’s the next best thing to having the real gentleman come a’calling at my door! πŸ˜‰

So how was everyone else’s Christmas? Did Santa bring you what you most desired? Please do tell, I’m sure we would all love to hear. πŸ™‚

  1. Sooooo perfect with this post Phoebe. And the line about “She fancies herself a good cook, I fancy her living farther away.” LMAO. Too hilarious. Okay so now for my version.

    Twas the day after Christmas
    And all through the castle
No more sign of the family
    And their great big HASSLE.

I do hope to see much more of the creative muse Phoebe. I am more than willing to take a crack at her shell, and see if we can cure that shyness.
    Keep Inspiring

  2. Neither is better, they are just different, but unfortunately both completely relatable. LOL. I love planting smiles Phoebe. I hope the new year sees us both smiling more than we should be allowed to. Be well my friend.

  3. Ha! (‘we both failed’!) GSOH Phobe. It inspired –

    The day after Christmas
    and all through the abode
    The fumes of stale liquor
    Caused the sleigh to corrode

Love from Charlie, Jensen and Mike xo

  5. Jensen Ackles. LOVE him. I remember seeing him on Days of Our Lives as Sammy’s twin brother. I just started watching Supernatural and I’m completely hooked. ~Gina
