Hell Spit Me Back Out

As many of you may or may not have noticed, I have been woefully neglectful of my blog for the last week due to an illness. I am finally on the mend now, and would like to say how very much I appreciated all the comments and emails sent my way from concerned friends and readers. You all humble me very much with your love and concern.

I won’t go into too many details with my illness, but suffice it to say that the strain of flu traveling through the Pacific Northwest right now is a particularly nasty version. We’ve also had a return of the dreadful H1N1 here in our area, with a few reports of deaths due to it already being reported. With the symptoms of H1N1 being so close to that of a normal flu, it’s hard to say most times which you have, which is why as I found out, it’s always wise to go in and get checked despite how stubborn you can be… like me. πŸ˜€

I absolutely hate going to see doctors. Especially when I am already sick because the last thing I feel like doing is sitting in those stiff ass chairs, waiting my turn to be poked and prodded and then told that I am.. guess what…. ILL. No shit Sherlock, what’s your next trick.. an enema? πŸ˜†

I’m not at peak health yet, but I should be back to my awesome self very soon. Just you wait and see. πŸ˜€

Much love to you all!!! ❀

  1. Oh, I feel badly that I did not realize. I was away and it has been dreadful catching up on blogs. I am so happy you are getting back to feeling better. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!!

  2. I’m glad to see you’re on the mend. I too have been a little absent from my blog. I’m so drained when I get home from work I just want to veg out on the cough. I too had a touch of the stomach bug this week and was dealing with vertigo for 2 days. Tis the season for being sick! ~Gina

  3. “No shit Sherlock, what’s your next trick…” Crack me up! That is too true. Glad to hear you’re feeling better, but not glad to hear that nasty stuff is running around the Pac NW! I’m doubling up on my Vitamin C right now.

    • It’s not the only germ running roughshod. Apparently the norovirus is closing down schools around the Portland area which means it’s only a matter of time before it hits everyone else. Ugh. 😦
